Megan + Ej :: Engaged

They were high school sweethearts. They both came to State and their relationship got even stronger. Talks of marriage happend occasionally but they both decided that it would be best for them to wait until they graduated. However, that didn't stop Ej for making New Year's Eve, 2011 one of them most memorable evening of her life. He popped the question and she said yes. Megan and Ej, I had so much fun with you guys.

We started the shoot at Mitchell Memorial Library. Megan, that was an awesome idea :)

Megan is studying to be a teacher with an emphasis in science and art (awesome combo btw), and Ej is going to be a meteorologist.... yeah, they are pretty awesome.

 We then decided to sneak outside (even though it was one hundred degrees) to enjoy some of the beautiful light. Also, Megan's ring actually belonged to Ej's mom. Talk about special....and gorgeous.
 Megan, you are stunning. And Ej, you're not half bad lookin' either :)
We then went over to some of their friend's house so they could "decorate" each other with pastels. Below was the trial run.

 And then it was on.....

 Afterwards, it was decided that they one way to clean up was to hose down....

Megan and Ej, I had so much fun with you guys! I can't wait for your wedding :)

Bridal Tea

Hannah is an awesome girl that I met this past year. She is getting married in a few weeks and wanted to celebrate with some of her friends by having a bridal tea. It was a blast; we drank exquisite teas, nibbled on delectable sandwiches and wore fabulous hats.

This is Hannah. And she is gorgeous
Here she is with her mama, her sister Maggie who is her maid of honor, and her aunt, Kim.
And these are Hannah's other bridesmaids; Candace and Sarah.
I'm probably one of the most ignorant people when it comes to tea but it really was amazing. They had an incredible selection from all over the world.
The lemon berry tea was my favorite.
I adore this photo of Maggie.
Beautiful.
Hannah, I hope you had a wonderful time. Thank you so much for letting me come along - it was such an honor. Congratulations once again and can't wait for your day :)

Ruth

Meet the lovely Ruth. I have had the pleasure of getting to know her over the past few months and she is pretty awesome. A few weeks ago she asked me to do some senior pictures for her so she could give them to her mom for Mother's Day and I couldn't turn her down :)

HOT!!!
I think this is my favorite. Hope you had a wonderful time celebrating with your mom, Ruth. It's been a pleasure getting to know you and I hope you enjoyed the shoot as much as I did. God Bless.

Seniors :: Bama Beauties

Meet Rachael, Laura, and Jenny; three friends, as close as sisters. They all joined Alpha Phi and over the years became best of friends. Now, graduation is just a few days out and they wanted to mark the end of this leg of the journey with some photos.

This is Rachael, a soon to be nurse in the Emergency Department. I adore this girl and while I was hoping she'd get a job closer to Starkville, I am so thrilled for her. A hard worker, godly and oh yeah, GORGEOUS!!

 And this is Laura. She's a sports journalist and guys she KNOWS her stuff. I mean totallyshutyoudown knows her stuff. Hottie!
And last, but certainly not least, this is the beautiful Jenny. She's going to an English teacher and a darn good one at that. Not only that, but she has impeccable taste in fashion.

The shoot started out at the Black Warrior River Walk and I could have spent hours there. Jenny wasn't able to join us till later so it was just Rachael and Laura. Ladies, I loved documenting your friendship, observing you interact.... beautiful :)
We then headed over to Bama's campus to meet up with Jenny.
After a couple shoots at the Stadium Laura had to leave so Jenny, Rachael and I made our way over to the President's Mansion. Not only was the setting beautiful but the light, oh the light.....

I'll end with this one. Ladies, I so enjoyed getting to photograph you!! You all are have so much to be proud of. Congratulations and I wish you all the best! God Bless :)
